"You have finally got rid of that job and that old co-worker and guess what? You look up and here they come. My name is Gloria Campbell, I'm with Advances Training Systems located in St. Petersburg, Florida, giving you an idea of how to handle an old co-worker in a new work situation. Sometimes, things just happen like that. You were probably relieved that you left and now that old co-workers found the job at your new company. Don't go around telling everybody how terrible they are. Let people find out for themselves. I promise you they will. Also, sometime people change. Maybe they know that what they did at the old location didn't work and they may not come here and try to do the same thing. Be cautious. Don't align yourself too closely with that old co-worker and then also, don't gossip and tell things about them from the other workplace. The best idea that you can have is that, maybe they've change. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Be on your guard, look out, don't associate too closely with them; but also don't be that person that spreads the rumors about what a rotten person or employee they were at the old company.
