"Do you ever have more day than you have time to get things done? That happens because we really don't prioritize. I'm Gloria Campbell, President and CEO of Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida, giving you the best way to prioritize your to-do list. The first thing I always ask myself once I've made my list is: What happens if I don't get something done? So it may be something that I think is very, very important or something I may just want to do. But what's the worst that's going to happen if it doesn't get done? If it's nothing or it could wait to the next day or maybe even the next week, then it really should not be on my priority list. The other thing I always encourage you to do is keep about six items at one time on your to-do list. If you have more than that, then spread them out over the next week or even the next month, if it possible. Prioritizing your to-do list will help you feel that you have a sense of accomplishment -- that you really are in control of what's happening and your time. My name is Gloria Campbell. I'm with Advantage Training Systems located in St. Petersburg, Florida, giving you some ideas that may help you prioritize your to-do list and feel that you're getting more done."
