Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Luis Estrada, and I'm a software developer. In this video I'll show you how to add dynamic HTML effects in Frontpage. Frontpage is a registered trademark of Microsoft, a company to which I have no affiliation. We will insert a marquee in our web page. Select insert and web component. The first option in the list is the dynamic effects. Choose the marquee first. Write the text that will scroll horizontally across the page. Select the direction of the movement. The most common is text scrolling from the right side of the page. Making it an analogy to walking, the delay value represents the time between taking each step and the amount value represents the size of the step. You can specify the width and height of the value in pixels, or as a percentage of the size of the page. For this case, we will create a marquee of a hundred and fifty pixels in width, by thirty pixels in height. You can set how many times the text should scroll, or choose continuously. You can specify a background color, too. The behavior value indicates how the content moves. Scroll, which is the default, indicates that the content should scroll off the edge of the marquee area, then it reappears on the other side. Press OK and select the preview option. Return to design mode, and double click on the marquee. The slide option indicates that when the leading part of the content reaches the left edge, it should stop with out scrolling off. Alternate makes the content bounce back and forth, all of it remaining visible all the time. I'm Luis Estrada, and I've just showed you how to create a multimedia web page using Frontpage."
