"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to troubleshoot a computer. If your computer is having problems such as it's not coming on, or you're not getting a screen on the computer, the first thing to do, that you would want to do is to check your connections. For a monitor, there's a blue cable that's plugged into the back of your computer, it might also be white. You could also check the power cable that's going into your computer. Now as far as on the computer itself, one thing you can do is click on the start button, and go to control panel, and then find the programs and features button. In Windows XP, it's called add and remove programs, and you'll see a list of the programs that are installed on here. If there is specific programs that are giving you trouble, and you are able to reinstall them, you can just simply click on them, and up here, click on uninstall. It could just be that, that program is corrupted and that by uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, you can make it work. Make sure you only do that if you're able to reinstall the program. Another good tip if you're having computer troubles, as always is just to click right here, and restart the computer. That's always a good first place to start. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to troubleshoot a computer."
