"Hi my name is Dave Andrews, today I'm going to show you how to assign the drive letter to a USB drive. I have a USB drive already attached to my computer. If I click on the start button, and I click on computer, you can see that my USB drive here is there with the drive letter of F. I want to change that drive letter. So let's close the computer window, click on the start button again, and now right click on computer and select manage. This brings up the computer management screen. From here under storage let's click on disc management. You can see that my USB drive is here as disc one with the drive letter of F. To change that drive letter simply right click on it and select change drive letter and bats. Select the F drive letter and say change. In this drop down I'm going to select drive letter W and say okay. It will tell you that some programs that rely on that drive letter might not work, that's fine, so we want to say yes. Now if I open up the computer window again by clicking on the start button and go into computer, you can see that my drive is now drive W. My name is Dave Andrews, and I just showed you how to change the drive letter on a USB drive."
