"Hi, my name's Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to import data from another database into Microsoft Access. Let's open up Access. I click on the start button, go into All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access 2007. I'm going to open up a database that I have. It says Database 4. What we're going to do is import data into this database from another access database. So just click on external data at the top and then under the import area, click on Access. What it's going to ask you to do is to select the source of the data, so click on browse, and just select another database. I'm going to go with Database 3. Down here, you have the option to import tables, which will actually copy them into your database, or you have the option to link them, which will leave them in the other database file, but you can access them from this one. I'm going to actually copy it, and say okay. This is the tables and queries and forms from my other database I've just selected. I'm going to select Table 1, and say okay. As you can see, my new table has been imported, and it's been named Table 1_1 because I already had a Table 1 existing. My name's Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to import data from another database into an Access database."
