There are lots of ways to stretch. I'm going to show you a couple that I like for improving flexibility. I like to take my left leg back and stretch my hamstring and my quad, and lean back. This is especially effective for more sport-specific flexibility, like track, basketball, baseball. So you always want to make sure you're warmed up and stretched out. That's going to avoid any injuries, cramping. Another great stretch that I love for improving flexibility is actually we're going to lay down flat, and we're going to take this left over, ensuring we keep our shoulders down. This is awesome for glutes, hips, adductor, inner thigh. We're going to stretch the other side. You're stretching your obliques, your abs. A great stretch for upper body flexibility is you want to bring that right and left back, and we're going to bring that nice and high. So now hold these for about five seconds, and we're going to shake them out. Each time you're going to be able to go higher than the last. Also, we're going to bring the right behind and the left up, and you're going to try to touch. If you can, first time, great, hang on about five seconds in between, and we're going to switch sides. For the right and the left this way is harder. But if you practice it'll be the same. These are some simple stretches I think you'll enjoy. They're very simple and basic. Anything fancy, we'll do the same exact thing. So keep it basic, always stretch, warm up, and your flexibility will be on point.
