"Hi, I'm Gretchen Rivas, with Relax to the Max Massage Therapy, and today, we're going to talk about relaxing oils for massage therapy. Now, some of the ones that I have out today, there are so many that are good for relaxing with massage. One of the things that you want to remember when you're working with essential oils, is that a little bit goes a long way, so if you need a tablespoon or two of oil, of the base oil, like sweet almond oil, you only need to put a couple of drops of your essential oil in the blend, to work on the person that you're going to be working on, and you want to make sure that they like that scent, that they're not allergic to it. Some people have allergies, and you want to be careful that you're not going to spread an oil all over them, that's going to make them break out in hives, everywhere. One of my favorites for relaxing, is of course, the French Lavender. It's probably one of the least expensive, but it's also one of the most relaxing. It has many, many beneficial effects to it. Clary sage is good. You have grapefruit. This really helps calm children, if you just disperse it into the air. You have some other ones. Neroli, you have sweet orange. Vanilla is relaxing. Mandarin and patchouli, and ylang-ylang, and jasmine, all of these are good essential oil flavors, to relax somebody and help them relax during a massage, so those are some nice relaxing essential oils, that you can use for massage therapy."
