"Hi, I'm Gretchen Rivas with Relax to the Max Massage Therapy, and today, we're going to talk about the different uses of tea tree oil. Tea tree is one of my favorites. You can get it at WalMart of all places; believe it or not, in the vitamin section, on the bottom row for six dollars. But it's good for everything from cuts and burns, fungal infections, skin infections. It should be in everybody's medicine cabinet, because it helps with mosquito bites or ant bites. You get any kind of little bite you can put a dab of this on there and the itch goes away almost immediately; especially with the ant bites. It helps tremendously. And you can use it to help clear your sinus infections. Put a drop of this with lavender; one drop of tea tree, one drop of lavender in a steaming mug of hot water and then breathe and inhale it. It'll help you get rid of that cold about ten times faster than you would if you had to use just a cold medicine alone cause' it gets in there and fights that sinus infection at the cellular level. So, with tea tree oil you can use it for just about anything. If you have cuts or burns or abrasions you can put it direc, not directly on the cut or burn, but you can water it down a little bit. But it is one of the few oils that you can use directly on the skin. Tea tree and lavender don't have to be diluted because they won't burn your skin if you put em' directly on, so tea tree is one of those things that you do want to have in your medicine cabinet because there are so many uses for it. I recommend that you have it in your kitchen or on your medicine cabinet shelf."
