"Hi, this is Laura Turner, and today we're going to talk about, how to write a love letter. Writing a love letter is one of the most romantic things you can do for your partner, especially if you are living far away from each other. First thing you want to think about when you're writing a love letter, is to actually write it with a pen and a piece of paper. Try to even write it on paper that is special, paper that's not just regular paper, but something that has a little more substance to it, so you end up writing for the paper. So for example, if you're just writing on regular paper, you might just write as you would normally, but you want to make your love letter into something very special. Write your letter as though it is the final time you will ever speak to your partner. If you're actually going to sit down to write a love letter, make it something special and important. And the way to do that is to, really think about the days when we were only able to communicate with each other by sending letters, so think about the urgency in your love letter, and all the things that you want to tell to your partner, and all the things that you love about them and miss about them. Try not to bring in your everyday worries and concerns into your love letter. For example, if you're writing an e-mail to someone, you might sort of elaborate on the bad things that happened to you that day, because it's quick and it's easy, and it an e-mail. But when you're writing a letter you have the time to sit down and really think about what you're going to say. And also the other thing about writing letters is that you should take your time, that you should even, if you want to, lay the letter aside, and come back at a different time when you feel more inclined to be romantic, and to continue your letter. Especially, do nothing else while writing your letter, it's very hard these days for us to just sit down and quietly think about something or someone and not do anything else or think about anything else, find a quiet place to go write. I use to like to write on the porch at my house. Go outside, think about going back to nature, back to a state of complete calm, and actually get yourself into a different kind of mood when you write your letter. So ask questions, finally, is my final sort of advice for you, ask questions of your partner, so that you can get a letter back from them. So after you've lavished all these memories, and ideas, I miss yous and I love yous onto them, ask them what they're doing now, do you think of me, and hopefully you'll get a reply."
