"Hi, this is Laura Turner and today I'm going to talk to you about how to write a wedding announcement. A wedding announcement is a announcement that goes out after the fact of the wedding, and lets people who have either been to your wedding or even not been to your wedding, know that you are now married. They're a very good way to give your friends and family all the new information about where you live, what your new name is, telephone number, and things like that. It's also very nice for you to be able to send out announcements because there are some people that you want to invite to your wedding, but for whatever reason whether they live too far away, whether you know that they won't make it, or what not. Or you have just no more space for them to be, to put in, to put them into for your wedding. It's nice to be able to actually send them something to let them know that you have been married. So think of them as an afterthought to the wedding, but also just a nice way to sort of break the ice with the people who didn't come to your wedding that you do know. Either they're professional friends or whatever the deal is with them to let them know your new status."
