"Hi, this is Ann Myrick, and I'm going to show you how to clean a stove today. First, you want to take your burners out. They they come out differently. This one; you just pull it out. Some are flat so you can't take it out, but if they do come out take it out, take the drip pan out, and because these tend to get really dirty just soak these in some hot soapy water. Then with your sponge take the hot soapy water, and I like using baking soda. There are many different types of oven and stove cleaners; commercial but also just natural products you can use, so what I do is I'll just sprinkle a little bit of baking soda on the top, and you can see it just, with a little bit, with the powder creating a little bit of friction the dirt comes right up. And then, what you want to do is really rinse, and get a clean sponge and go back over your oven. Then, once you let your pans soak and you scrub them you can put the drip pans back onto the stove, along with the element. I'm going to dry the top, and you have a very nice, shiny stovetop. This is Ann Myrick, and that's how to clean a stovetop."
