How to Talk to a Girl on the Phone

"Hi. My name is Jessica Claire and I'm a dating coach for New York Dating Coach, and we're here in New York City. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to talk to a girl on the phone. Now, the first rule about how to talk to a girl on the phone is: don't. If you don't have to, avoid it at all costs. Now the reason is, you probably don't like talking on the phone; you're probably not terribly skilled at it. Women are very very comfortable with words. They could talk for hours and hours at a time, and my guess is you probably don't have all that extra time just sitting around. Now, if you're forced to talk to a girl on the phone, your best bet is to listen. Be silent. Let her tell her story. Wait until a time when she's asking you a specific question to answer. And when she does so, give your honest and sincere answer. Never talk about something too intense over the phone, because you can't see her reaction. You have no idea if you're upsetting her or not. Girls are good at hiding in their voice. Therefore, keep your conversations short, keep them not too complicated and if you're going to talk about something serious, do it in person. A phone conversation should never be a break-up conversation, or a conversation deciding anything but where and when you're going to meet to talk.
