Now, this is a broad topic you could study for years and years and never perfect, or be natural at right away. When it comes to flirting, there are a couple of things to remember. Number one, the best way to flirt is with body language. The way you hold yourself is key. So, closing yourself off to a person is never a good idea. Also, don't get too close to them. It should be a really comfortable distance where you could bring attention to certain parts of your body. Secondly, eye contact. The way you look at someone says everything. You can glare, you can be starry eyed or, you can look them right in the eye, smile, and they should know right away that you're interested. When it comes to flirting, you should always have fun. I find that simple giggling, or jokes, maybe even light put-downs: "so, where'd you get that shirt?" is a flirtation. And never be mean or cruel to someone, but you can poke fun and tease someone with flirtation in mind. The next and last thing to always remember about flirting, is that you can do it with a wide range of people, and practice makes perfect. You can't always flirt the same way with every person. If one person kind of likes pokey, tickling flirting, another person might like mean and cruel sensual flirting. So practice. Every person you meet, have a little flirt. Flirt with the convenience store owner. Flirt with the girl at the supermarket. The more you do it, the better you'll get.
