How to Train a Dog to Poop in the Same Place

"Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about how to teach your dog to poop in the same place. So keeping that in mind we're using a crate when the dog is not supervised from the crate we bring her outside into the yard to the place where we want and where ever that place is we're not going to leave there until she goes to the bathroom. When she does go to the bathroom, we're going to give her lots of praise. You know you can use whatever word you want if it's potty go potty but teaching that also helps them go on command if your in a rush. So by bringing them to that place and telling them to go potty as soon as they go potty you praise them and again the more you praise them the more they repeat the action. You correct them the more they stop the action . So you know consistency, repetition, and praise is how your going to get your dog to go to the bathroom in the same place all the time.
