"Hi. I'm Laura from YoungWritersWorkshops.com, ah, I'm going to talk about some ideas about how to get a cookbook published. Ah, almost every large publisher has a cookbook publishing arm and yet, unless you are a restauranteer or a celebrity chef, it's highly unlikely that you'll be able to, for your first book, egt it published by a large publisher. Do some research, look around at smaller in prints, smaller publishers that might be interested in a title that, in the title of your book. Um, you also want to put your manuscript together in a way that's really professional, formatted clearly and includes all the information that requested in the publisher's guidelines. Ah, if you're writing a cookbook that you'd like to publish as a fund-raising project, there are several small publishers that do that kind of work. Um, Heritage Publishing is one of them. They'll give you all the information you need to self-publish your cookbook for your fund-raiser. Um, it's important to start small, get your work out there and this could be the r, the way to get to be a bigger, to a bigger publisher with, um, that lets you keep more of the royalties over time. Um, the most important thing of all, to remember, is to be persistent, ah, you have to expect some rejection when you're, in any publishing project.
