"Hi. I'm Laura from YoungWritersWorkshops.com. I'm going to talk about where to submit your poetry to be published. Um, I think it's important to realize that you kind of need to start small, as a poet wanting to be published. Um, it's just a very, um, competitive marketplace for poets and even the most accomplished poets are, um, not publishing a lot of books. Uh, uh, it's, ah, important to think of working your way up the ranks. Um, research some of the smaller presses, journals, magazines where you can submit poetry for publication. Um, a good book to look at is the Poets Market. It's published every year and it provides information about, um, publications that accept work. Publications and publishers that accept your, that will accept your work and what the terms are. Another good thing to look into is, um, find a few web sites. There's, um, a few that will publish poetry and those would be, um, things that you'd want to check and make sure it's reputable and, um, read a little bit more about what their terms are before you submit your work to an online source. Um, Poets and Writers magazine is another place to find markets to publish your work. Um, and they're, probably doing some online research, ah, wouldn't, would be a good way to find a few other sources for your publication. So, to sum up, um, do your research, look around for some smaller publishers that might be a good place to publish your work. Um, obtain the Poets Market, look around for online places to submit your work and also read Poets and Writers magazine and those are some ways to, ah, find a place to publish your poetry."
