"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com I'm going to talk a little bit about how to write a non-fiction book. A non-fiction book is obviously information that is factual. I'd say the most important way to begin is to choose a topic that you feel passionate about enough to spend a lot of time researching and learning about and then writing about. An organization for writing a non-fiction book might be, first gathering the information, doing a lot of research, pulling together your sources. You may have to go back and do more research during the process of writing but beginning with some upfront research is a really good way to start a non-fiction writing project. Once you feel like you've had enough research to put together an outline, make an outline that flows from beginning to end of what you want to accomplish in your book. Now again, you may go back and you may revise your outline, but this is a skeleton form for you to begin to understand how you're going to write about this subject and what exactly you're going to include in it. From your outline you can begin to flesh out your chapters. Write each chapter based on what information is an understandable size to fit into a chapter. As many non-fiction writers will tell you, it's good to include experts. Gets some experts on the area of your subject who will be able to read and give feedback, and then based on their feedback do another final draft. So those are some steps to writing a non-fiction book."
