"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, today I'm going to show you how to make a desktop wallpaper or background in Microsoft Windows. To begin, let's go to the Microsoft Paint software that comes with Windows. Click on start, go to all programs, accessories, and choose paint. To create your desktop we first have to resize this image to be large enough to cover your desktop. Go to image, and let's select stretch or skew. Type in about four hundred percent, press okay. That is a large enough image to cover your entire background. Let's add something to this background, I'm going to write my name, I'm going to add some text here as well. And I'm going to resize it. Let's just save this document somewhere on our computer. Go to file, save as, let's just call it my background. Save. Now let's close the Microsoft Paint editor, right click on your desktop, go to properties. Choose the desktop tab, and under this background area we're going to choose browse. Find the picture that you've just saved, here is my background, and select open. And then press apply. As you can see my image that I've just drawn is now my desktop background. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to create a desktop wallpaper or background."
