"Hi. My name's Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to insert a background picture in Word 2003. Lets go to the computer. And we're going to open up Microsoft Office Word. This is the blank template that comes up when you open Word. We want to insert a background image. So we go to format and background. And we're going to select fill affects. This brings up the fill affects dialog. The one that we're interested in is the picture tab. Then click on the select picture button. And go and find the picture that you want to be your background. I'm going to choose this winter picture. Select, click the insert button. Now that you've selected your image, click OK. As you can see, our Word document background has been completely filled with this winter image. And we can even type some text over top of the image. Since this is a dark background it's a good idea to select your text and change the text color to a lighter color. And possibly bold. Make it larger. As you can see we've inserted a background image. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to insert a background image in Word 2003."
