"Hi. My name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to insert a background image in to a Microsoft Word document. Let's go to the computer. We're going to select Microsoft Office Word. This brings up a blank template that we're going to insert our background on. To insert the background, go to format, background and choose fill effects. The tab that we're interested in is the picture tab. Click on the picture tab and say select picture. Then we're going to drill down and select a picture that we want to choose. I'm going to go with this winter image. Select your picture and say insert. Once you're picture is selected, just click okay. As you can see, the background of our word document has been filled with the picture that we've selected. You can type some text over the image. And since this is a dark background, it's a good idea to highlight your text, change the text color to something a little bit lighter; that way it will show up. It's very easy to put a background in.
