"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to add a textured background to a Microsoft Word Document. Let's begin by opening up Microsoft Word, and as you can see, it comes up with the default white background that comes with Microsoft Word. To add a textured background, we're going to go to format, background and choose fill effects. The second tab in the fill effects dialog is the textured tab. That's the one we want to select. You can select sort of a green, marble kind of color and press okay. As you can see, our green color has been added as the background on this image. We can select different backgrounds, simply by going back to format, background, fill effects and choosing another texture such as this matte and select okay. We now have a matted background and you can type text over the matte, matted background. If you have a background that is not white, it's typically a good idea to change the color of your text on top of that background; maybe bold it, make it a little bit larger so that it's easier to read. As you can see, it's very easy to add a background to a Microsoft Word Document. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to add a textured background to a Microsoft Word Document."
