Video Transcript

"Hi. My name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to accept or reject tracked changes in a Microsoft Word document. Let's go to the computer. When you have change tracking enabled in Microsoft Office Word, it shows you all the changes that are made to the document that you're looking at. Let's open up Word, and first let's create a document with some text in it. Let's then save that document. Now to track the changes, let's go to tools and select Track Changes. Any changes that are made to this document from this point on will be highlighted in red. As the file is saved, those changes will still appear. If you're wanting to accept the changes that are made to the document, simply right click on some of the red text and select Accept Insertion. That accepts what we've just added to this document. Let's add some more text. If you want to reject those changes, right click on it and select Reject Insertion, that will remove the text. It's very easy to accept and reject text that's been inserted. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just shown you how to accept or reject tracked changes in Microsoft Word."
