"Hello welcome my name is Julio Nutt, I'm a master instructor of the Jim McLean Golf School in Miami Florida. In this clip I'm going to talk about how to improve your release. Release is the move that you have after you hit the ball where your hands are actually going to close. The right hand is going to close over your left, but you're closing your club face in relation to your target line. Because your club face stays in front of your chest. And everything is moving forward together. And this is going to generate a lot of speed in your swing. And it's going to allow you to rotate and shift your weight into your left side. But many amateurs have the problem that after they hit the ball, they just do what is called the chicken wing. They don't do any release, and their just lifting the clubs up. Using a racket, it could be a ping pong racket, a squash racket, tennis racket. Just grip it with your left arm, left hand, left arm. And just try to move it so that after you pass through the impact, you need to fold your left arm. You really need to let your left arm rotate, and create this motion. Look at how I can put a lot of speed here. And the racket is going to be in the correct position. You don't want the racket to be facing down, you want the racket to go up while you fold your left arm. It's going to stay connected to your body, and this is really going to help you create a lot of speed, and a great golf swing. This is Julio Nutt at the Jim McLean Golf School."
