"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, and today I'm going to show you how to switch users with Windows Vista. Windows Vista is a multi user operating system, which means you can have more than one user on it, you could have one for a father and a mother and a kids account, or in a work environment you can have one for administrators, users, and the like. So I'm going to show you how to switch between them easily. I'm already logged in as a user here, and I can have multiple programs on the screen that I'm running as that user. Each one of these show up in my local user space, which most people refer to as a desktop. To switch to another user and still leave these programs running I can click down here on the Vista start bar, which is this little round button, over here on the bottom right hand corner is this little arrow. I'm going to click that arrow and I'm going to select switch user. The screen will go blank for a minute while it pulls up the list of users on the system. I have four users on the system. I'm going to change over to William. Now each user can have his own programs running in the background. You can have hundreds of backgrounds running on a single computer under multiple different users. You can switch between them and still leave all the programs running for each individual user. I'm going to switch back by clicking the start button and going back to switch user. As you can see this user has different settings on his desktop. You can - each user can have their own customized settings as far as the image on the background and things like that, so I'm going to back to Dave, and here I am logged on again as Dave with my two programs still running. It's a very easy tool to switch between users. My name is Dave Andrews and I just showed you how to switch users in Microsoft Vista."
