"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, today I'm going to show you how to sort records in the Microsoft Access database. Let's open up Access. And open up a database. I'm going to choose my database three. If it gives a security warning, just click open. Select the tables subsystem and open up a table. And this one has three rows in it, three fields in it. I want to sort by the "my text" field. So let's close your table and go to the queries subsection. Select create a query and design view. It's going to ask you what tables you want to include in the query, we only have one, so just select table one and say add. Now close the show table dialogue. Drag each of these fields into the field area at the bottom, into separate columns. Since we want to sort by the "my text" field, go to the sort area under "my text," let's make it descending. To view your sorted records, click over here at the top on the view button. As you can see, the records have been sorted by my text in a descending nature. It's very easy to sort records in Microsoft Access. My name is Dave Andrews. I've just showed you how to sort records in a Microsoft Access database."
