"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, today I'm going to show you how to sort Microsoft Access records using multiple criteria. Let's open up Microsoft Access, and open the database. And let's use my database three. If you get a security warning, just say open. In your list of tables, open it up and look at the data. I have three row fields here that I can sort on, ID, my text, and my yes/no. Let's close out our table and click on the queries subsection. Create a new query and design view. It's going to ask you what tables you want to include in your query. We only have one table so select it, say add, and then close. First select the first field that you would like to sort by. I'm going to do my text and drag it down here to the field area. After that select the second field you'd like to sort by. I'm going to do ID and bring it down here to the field area. In the field area there is a sort option for each of these fields. Let's select ascending for my text, and ID for - and descending for the ID field. To see your sorted data just click on the view button at the top. As you can see it's sorted by my text and sorted by ID. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to sort records in Microsoft Access using multiple criteria."
