"Hi. My name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to format and partition a USB jump drive. I have here a USB jump drive that I'm just going to plug into my computer. Just plug it into the USB port on your computer. If your jump drive is already formatted it's going to pop up and ask you what you want to do with it. Just press cancel. To format that jump drive, click on start, right click on my computer and lets select manage. Now under storage we're going to select disc management. Our jump drive is on disc one and it's about thirty megabytes. So, let’s delete that partition by right clicking on the E and saying format. We're going to give it a FAT format and say OK. It's telling you that it's going to erase all data on the volume. So, just press OK. Now, this partition has just been formatted and if we open it up in my computer, as you can see it's a new and empty partition on a new volume. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to format and partition a USB jump drive."
