"Hi. My name is Dave Andrews. And today, I'm going to show you how to troubleshoot a wireless network connection. The very first thing we're going to do is make sure that we're getting an IP from our wireless connection. Click on the Start button. Let's run the command prompt. Now in the command prompt, we're going to type the command "ipconfig", all one word, and then a space, and "/all". Find your wireless adapter, which is this one here- wireless LAN adapter. As you can notice, I don't have an IP config. assigned to my wireless connection. And it says "Media disconnected". So what I need to do is make sure that I'm connected to a wireless network. To do so, let's just go to Start and say "Network". From here, we're going to the Network and Sharing Center. To connect to a network, just select "Connect to a Network". Select the one you want to connect to and say "Connect". It's that easy to troubleshoot your wireless connection.
