"Have you ever heard that it pays to advertise. Well this is Dr. Paul, author of "Boomer Girls, A Boomer Woman's Guide to Men and Dating." And let me tell you what flirting is all about. How do you flirt? How to flirt. It's advertising, that right. You're advertising yourself. Nothing different from any brand name you know, you are advertising you. Whether you are a man or a woman. Now how does it work? The first thing of course is eye contact. You look and then you look away, and you look back. People notice that. People read your body language. If for example you happened to be talking with one person, and you notice another person, your body will suddenly shift. That body language again is ninety percent of how we communicate. When that shift occurs that person knows that you're interested in them. They're reading you. Often times it's not what you say, but often times it's how you say it. And the body language that you use. So flirting does not only include eye contact, and looking away and looking back to see if that person is looking at you. But it also includes the positioning of your body. You can be across the room, and look this way with your body pointing this way, and that person know that you're open to them. That's how it works. So when you flirt, and do it successfully, keep in mind that I'm advertising, and I'm advertising to my target market, which is that person over there. That person is the one I want to respond to me. So any thing they do on Madison Avenue, you can do better. Alright? This is Dr. Paul, may your fantasies of today be your realities of tomorrow."
