"Let's not depress, okay. How to impress a date. That's a tough one. I'm Dr. Paul, author of "Boomer Girls, A Boomer Woman's Guide to Men and Dating." Often times we find out what to do by definitely knowing what to not do. Okay. Example, you're a man and you have this very lovely lady with you on a first date. Or the second date or whatever date. Probably one of the early dates. And she's very romantically looking at you, and you're sitting in a restaurant, and this honey walks by and you go. It's over Jack, you're done. It's all over. Remaining eye contact means nothing because you broke the spell. If you want to impress a date, whether you're a man or a woman, you better focus on that person, and that person alone. Because the minute you break that focus, you break the mood, you break the hypnosis, you break the magic. And if you want to impress that date don't look at someone else. That's curtains, it's over. It's no time out, it's end game. Believe me on that one, I have had more women and men call my show and say, I really like that woman, and the minute this guy walked by, she looked at him and that was it. I'll never see her again. And the same thing with women. So if you want to impress a date, be with the date, that's where you are. You're not going to be with that person ever any ways, so why look. It's only going to hurt you. This is Dr. Paul, may your fantasies of today be your realities of tomorrow."
