"Hi, I'm Erica Goms, I'm here in Salt Lake City, Utah. We're talking about MySpace on the internet. Today I'm going to show you how to make your profile private. We already have a MySpace profile up, so we're just going to click on the task bar to bring it up. Now what we're going to do is we're going to show you how to make your MySpace page profile private. So what you're going to do is you're going to go out to edit profile and click on that. And there's a, brings up your profile editing page. Now what you're going to do is, over on the right hand says account settings, you'll click on that and that brings up all your contact info. So your account, your password, we're going to click on privacy. Now this brings up how much you want your MySpace profile to be private. And so you can hide your online now, you can turn it off so that no one knows that you're online. You can turn off when people know when your birthday is and what we're going to do is I'm going to show you how to make it private. Now it says profile viewable by, right now it's sets to "everyone". But if you want to change it to "everyone 18 year old and over", you'd click there. But for right now I'm going to click on "my friends only" so the only people that would be able to view your profile are your friends. And so now we're going to save all changes right down here and then now it says privacy settings successfully changed. And now from now on, if someone looks up your name and they're not your friend, it will be, your profile will be private and they will have to add you as a friend in order to view your profile."
