"Hi this is Tom Kenaston, I am a composer and singer and pianist living in West Palm Beach, Florida and also New York City. This clip is how to learn to play piano chord style, lesson one, notes. Playing the piano chord style is really really very very easy. Chords are made up of more than one note at a time, generally we think in terms of three notes at a time, this would not be chord style, here's two, notes at the same time that's a little more chord style three notes at the same time we really like to call that chord style. So instead of playing. Which is an arpeggio we play. All three notes at the same time. Some of these notes belong not only to this chord but to lots of other chords as well for instance the first note, the c that I played with the e and the g can also be played with the f and the a, and that's a different chord so here we have a c chord move some of the notes around, you have another chord. Then you can hold this note for instance the top one the g and move the other two down and you have a g chord. And now you're playing chord style. This is Tom Kenaston, this has been lesson one how to play chord style the notes."
