"Hi, my name is Joe, I'm from Wilmington, North Carolina, and I'm at Breaktime. What we're going to do today is we're going to shoot a draw shot. Now what makes a cue ball draw back from the object ball is the fact that it has backspin on it. The cue ball will be spinning backwards when it hits the object ball. As long as the cue ball is spinning backwards when it hits the object ball, the cue ball will draw back. Now, one of the problems is that when people try to draw a ball, a lot of times, they jab at the ball and they go something that looks like this. And then they don't understand why it won't draw back. You should always follow through in all shots that you do, and especially on a draw shot. So all I'm going to do is I'm going to hit the ball low, on the cue ball, which is going to impart backspin on the cue ball, it's going to hit the four ball, and then it's going to back up. I should not have to hit th is very hard in order to back it up to the table. And that is how you draw a ball."
