Hello I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question "how do you find out about the penalties for embezzlement"? Well first of all embezzlement is a very serious crime and generally has very serious penalties associated with it. And those penalties are sometimes of long lasting duration. Embezzlement is generally by state statutes and is therefore vary from state to state, and you are going to be dealing with the state in which this person committed the crime of embezzlement to determine what the penalties are. There, there's also the aspect of the criminal penalties and the civil penalties because embezzlement is the acquisition of property by a person in a trusted position from a company.
