Well first of all, the document that is involve in changing a last will and testament is called a codicil; c-o-d-i-c-i-l. And what that means is an amendment to your last will and testament. And since every state has different laws about what does and does not constitute a valid last will and testament and what does and does not constitute an, a valid amendment to that last will and testament, you may want to check with the statutes first. It's not necessary to hire a lawyer to execute a codicil to change your last will and testament, but it's probably very advisable. And when you go to check for a lawyer to assist you in doing that, you want to get someone who's specialized. So you want to check with your local bars association or the yellow pages to find out who is specializing in a state planning and probate. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
