"Hello, my name is Luis Estrada and I'm a software developer. In this video I'll show you how to make an animated gif. For this example I'm using Adobe Photo Shop CS2. Photo Shop is a registered trademark of Adobe. A company to which I have no affiliation. Create a new document with a resolution of three hundred and fifty by a hundred and fifty. Select the paint bucket tool and fill the image with black. Select the type tool use the font of your choice. For this example I'll use alba. Change the font color to white and type some text. Select the layer that contains the text and apply an effect by using layer. Layer style and outer glow. Set the outer glow like this. Use normal for the blend mode an opacity of a hundred percent. Zero noise. Choose a color for the neon effect. Select softer for the technique a spreed value of fifty a size of seven. Select this contour from the drop down box. A range of sixty and no jitter. You can experiment with all values to achieve any desired effect. The idea is to make a neon like effect. That catches the users eye. Click OK to finish. We can use Adobe image ready to create a blinking text. At the bottom of the tools tab select the option to open the image ready application. Image ready is installed along with Photo Shop. Open the animation window by pressing on widow animation. Now press on the duplicate current frame button. On then second frame press the I button of the text layer to hide the neon text. Finally save the image as a gif file. Press file, save optimized as. Make sure gif is selected and give the file a name. Now open the folder to preview your image and now you have an animated gif. I'm Luis Estrada and I've just shown you how to edit your digital images."
