"Hello, my name is Luis Estrada, and I am a software developer. In this video, I'll show you how to get free photo editing software. There are many great programs out there, that you can download for free. For example, Picasa 3, developed by Google, and available at picasa.google.com. This software provides many useful editing features, like Red Eye Removal, Copy, Adding Text to the Image, Rotation, Color Correction, and many great effects too. With Picasa, you can create collages, slide shows, wallpapers and more. Picasa works as a photo album too. It allows you to import files from your digital camera,to an album, with the click of a button. You can create virtual photo albums, that work as play lists for quick viewing, and sharing. If you have a Google account, you can use it to upload your entire pictures collection to the web, by using the free Picasa Webs Album Service. You could even send email invitations to your contacts, for your newly created web albums. Another great application that you can download for free, is the Gimp, available at Gimp.org. This program is perhaps the most powerful free editing software. It has many great features, that stand against those of expensive programs, like Adobe Photoshop. Gimp is not as easy to use as Picasa, but it's certainly much more powerful. If you want to get serious about photo editing, without spending any money, Gimp is certainly the way to go. In the documentation section of the website, you can find many tutorials and a user manual, to get started. I'm Luis Estrada, and I've just shown you how to edit your digital images."
