"Hello, my name is Luis Estrada and I'm a software developer. In this video, I'll show you how to edit your pet's pictures. I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS2. Photoshop is a registered trademark of Adobe, a company to which I have no affiliation. If you have a pet at home, you probably have tons of pictures of it. Well, here's some tips to make those pictures more entertaining. A single picture can be used to place your pet in a lot of situations and environments. For example, imagine that you live in an apartment building and you do not have a garden. You wondered how your pet would look in one. In this example, we will take this puppy and place it inside the garden of this other picture. The first thing you need is a good picture of your pets. Put your pet in front of the wall painted with a strong and uniformed color. The idea is to make a strong contrast between the background and your pet. This way, you can erase the entire background with a simple click on the magic eraser tool. On the toolbar, select the eraser tool. Keep the button pressed until the three eraser options appear. Then select the magic eraser. You can also press the E on your keyboard to select it. Select the tolerance level of the eraser by entering a value in the box. The lower the value, the less tolerance the eraser will use when deleting a certain color of the picture. For example, let's enter a value of 5 in the box. Then on the picture, when you click on the blue background, you see that not all tones of blue are erased, however we used a higher tolerance value say 50, we remove the majority of the background. If we use a very high value for example 100, the entire background is deleted. If you shot your pet against a much defined color, you get rid of the entire background with a simple click. If you didn't, then you would have to manually create a selection around your pet and then cut it from the image. To place your pet in the garden picture, select the move tool or press V on your keyboard. Then drag and drop the pet image into the garden. Since the image is too big, we need to resize it. Press CTRL T on your keyboard. Click on the lock button to maintain the aspect ratio. This maintains the proportion between the width and the height of the image. Then drag by any of the corners to make the image smaller. You can also move the pet around the image. When you are done making changes, just press ENTER on your keyboard. I'm Luis Estrada and I've just shown you how to edit your digital images."
