Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Luis Estrada and I'm a software developer. In this video, I'll show you how to edit Windows background pictures. Windows XP is a registered trademark of Microsoft, a company to which I have no affiliation. In Windows XP, your included background picture should be under the Windows Web Wallpaper folder. These files have a resolution of 800 width by 600 height. To edit any, right-click on it and select edit. Change your picture. For example, try the invert colors option under the image tab. Then click CTRL S to save the file. There are also other files found under the Web Windows directory. These files are small bitmapped images with the resolution of 160 to 256 in width by 160 to 256 in height. When filling your desktop background, these images are repeated until they fill the entire screen. These types of images are also called tiled backgrounds. To create a new tiled background, look for an image on the Web. Right-click on it and select set as desktop background. Under the position option, select tile and press the set desktop button. I'm Luis Estrada and I've just shown you how to edit your digital images."
