"This is Rachel with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we're talking about what you can eat with a sore throat. And first and foremost usually temperature makes a huge difference with a sore throat so most people enjoy either drinking something that is cool or cold or something that is very, very warm. And this, the warming in particular helps to relax the muscles and the cells and work on kind of healing the membranes of your throat. A couple favorites that I personally have that I include when I have a sore throat are absolutely lime juice and for me, lime juice as we all know limes have vitamin C and vitamin C is very involved in immune function. But above and beyond vitamin C, I believe that limes have some special property in them that helps our bodies to heal much quicker. So if I ever have the slightest bit of a sore throat, lime juice is my very, very first thing that I run to and I keep it in the house all the time, fresh limes. Another thing that I love and I recommend to all of my clients and friends is homemade chicken broth. And so this is not just an old wives tale, this is something that truly helps but its best if you can make it from scratch from bones that perhaps you've frozen from a dinner nights or weeks ago. So this has been Rachel with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida."
