"This is Rachael with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're talking about how you can raise your HDL cholesterol. Your HDL cholesterol are the part of your cholesterol that's considered your good cholesterol. And by good, we mean that these are basically the carrier molecules -- it's actually like a little boat -- that carries bad cholesterol away from your arteries and to your liver for disposal. So you always want your HDL to be a little bit higher -- actually, it ends up being lower than your LDL, but you want it to push it up so that you know that you're getting more cholesterol away from your arteries and not to your arteries. There's three major ways to improve your HDL cholesterol. Number one is exercise, which we've talked about in another clip. Number two are your fish oils -- your Omega 3 fatty acids help, too. They've proven in research to improve your HDL cholesterol. And believe it or not, the third thing is your red wine. This is another thing that's been studied and shown to improve your HDL cholesterol, and I've picked out a red wine here that's organic, meaning that it's free of the sulphites and therefore, fewer chemicals for your liver to process. So these are the best ways to raise your HDL cholesterol. This has been Rachael with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida."
