How to Upload Files to Another Computer With an FTP Program

"Hi my name is Dave Andrews and today I'm going to show you how to upload files to another computer with an ftp program. The ftp program I am going to use is actually built in to Windows and I'm going to pull it up here simply by clicking on the start button and going to computer. On Windows XP you would select my computer and I'm going to use the built in ftp program for Windows and just click up here in the air at the address area and clear out what is there and let's type ftp://and the name or address of your ftp server. Now this part you probably know because that is what your ftp administrator gave to you but what you need to do in order to access it is to type ftp://and then the address of the ftp server and with that typed in let's just say enter to connect. In this window that pops up we're going to type in our credentials. Now that I have typed in my credentials and clicked log on it has pulled up the files that are on the ftp server. I'm going to add some files to this or upload them by just kind of moving this over without closing it and I am going to find the files that I want to upload, right click on them and say copy. I'm going to move this back over to where I can see them and I'm going to right click somewhere over in this white space and just say paste. That goes about the process of uploading the files to the web server or the other ftp server through ftp.
