"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to make charts using Excel. Let's open up Microsoft Excel by clicking on the start button, going to all programs, let's select Microsoft Office and open Excel. I'm going to type in some data here for sales. Let's call our column, number of sales. We're going to put in some peoples names. Let's give them some number of sales as well. Clyde had a good day and that's going to be reflected in our chart. To create a chart, let's highlight the data that we want to show, go to insert. And we're going to select the type of chart under the charts areas. You can select a simple column chart, by selecting one of these columns. Let's just put in a simple two d column chart in. There's our chart for number of sales. We can easily format this chart by clicking on the different formats over here and also pull up a selection to choose from. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to create charts using Excel."
