"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, and today, I'm going to show you how to set Excel Macro Security. Let's begin by opening up Excel. Click on the Start button. Go to All Programs. Select Microsoft Office. Let's run Excel. To configure your macro security, click on the office button at the top, and let's select Excel Options. On the popular link over here, click the check box by Show Developer Tab in the Ribbon, so we'll check that, and select ok. As you can see, we now have a Developer Tab, and what Microsoft calls it's ribbon. Click the Developer Tab, and let's select Macro Security.Here are our macro settings for security. We can disable all macros, or let people know that we've disabled macros, or even enable all the macros. Once you've chosen your option, just select Ok.
