"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to show formulas in Excel. Let's begin by opening up Excel. Now we have Excel open, let's just input some formulas. Say we're going to do 10 times 100, which actually gives us the result. What we see in the spreadsheet view is the result of the formulas, and not the formulas themselves. If we had a whole lot of formulas on this page, it would be hard to tell what the formulas were simply by looking at the spreadsheet. So to show the formula, just click on the individual cell itself, and right here in the cell text screen right here, you're going to see the equal sign and then the number 10 times the number 100. That is the formula that's making up that specific cell. It, even down here, shows you that answer. When I click off of it, you get the result from the formula. It's that easy to show the formulas. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to show formulas using Excel."
