Hello, my name is Vic Schumacher with HPE Financial Services. Today we're going to talk about why even buy insurance. Well I'm an insurance broker and represent a variety of insurance companies. Insurance it self by generic definition is replacing an unknown with a sense of security. If you have a home or apartment I bet you have a key hidden somewhere. That key is to allow you to get in to your place and you locked your door behind you and left your key somewhere. That's insurance. If you work with the person and you feel as though that person can substitute for you if you get sick, that's insurance. It's a back up. Insurance itself is to take away the unknown. You buy insurance for yourself. You buy insurance for other people. You buy insurance to make sure that the people will be taken care of in the event that your not there to take care of them.
