"A must see in Linz, is the Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden has an extensive collection of succulent plants. The characteristic properties of succulents, is that they are able to survive with very little water. The most well known family of plants, that belongs to the succulents, are the cacti. Most cacti come from South or North America, especially from the deserts, and semi-deserts of the Southern United States, Mexico, and from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. They exist in many shapes, for example, round or tree like shapes. The flowers of the cacti can be almost any color and size. Besides the cacti, you can see various other succulent plants in the collection, like lilies, agaves, milkweeds, and spurges. For more information, go online."
