"So are you trying to determine if you have gingivitis? My name is Michelle and I'm a dental assistant with Solutionz and I'm going to help you determine if you do have gingivitis. By looking at this chart you can actually tell that when it comes to gingivitis by looking at this picture if you notice that your gums bleed easily whenever you brush or floss or whenever you are at your general dentist office and he is doing his exam and kind of probing around your gums as you see in this picture, if they tend to bleed easy that is a sign of gingivitis or if your gums are inflamed and puffy and swollen and they are very sensitive to touch that is also another great sign of gingivitis and then possibly sometimes what is present when you do have gingivitis is if you have extreme bad breath. That is something that you might want to definitely have your dentist take a look and he will be able to determine that for you and then also too the gums between your teeth they may look what we call a flush red in color and you can kind of tell here. You see the pinkness up above the tooth when you look here it is actually a little bit more of a red like bloody color so basically you need to see your general dentist during your regular routine visits and exams and therefore he would be able to definitely determine if you do have gingivitis but these are a couple of the signs that you can kind of follow by to kind of make that assessment yourself but once again my name is Michelle and I'm a dental assistant with Solutionz and I just helped you determine on if you have gingivitis."
