How to Fold a Christmas Tree

"So you want a little Christmas tree you can stick on your desk or just wherever you are at. My name is Robert Segundo and I'm going to teach you how to make one out of paper and what I've got here is I have got a, it is going to be an origami piece and I have started with the origami base so this is a square base and if you don't know how to do this what you need to do is look up some videos. I've got some videos to show you how to do this. What we are going to do is take our square base which looks like that and we are going to pull our tab up like so and basically what we are going to do is we are going to squash fold this and take our square base and we are going to go into a fruit base is what we are doing here. I am just going to take this down and flip this over like that and pay attention as you are squashing here because if you don't your points will get all messed up, there you go. Let's do all four sides and now what we are going to do, if you want to this is the point in which maybe you should decorate this because this is going to be your least sides of the sides of your tree so everywhere you have got your triangles here you want to go ahead and put something on it, maybe a little glitter, maybe color on it write something funny on it you know, whatever. This is the time to do it. Now that we have got it done like this we are going to kind of open this sign up here as our flap. Basically what we are going to do is we are going to grab this flap and fold it up to get the square edge on it and then after we have folded it up we are going to take it and just fold it back underneath like so, just kind of a reverse fold there. So let's do this on all four sides, there we go. This was really quick so if you spend a little time making your creases really nice and your folds really nice you won't have such a horrible looking Christmas tree as I am going to have here so we'll fold here and there and fold it in to place and do this here at the same time, fold it in place pick it up, stick a little doo dadder in here and then on this side and there you have it, just kind of open it up like a little Christmas tree on display. You might want to have to do something here, you know what I am going to do. There, staples are ornaments too so basically there you have it that's what your little Christmas tree is going to look like so play around with it, have fun and enjoy."
